to inform you of conditions, which are present and visible at the time of the inspection.
Our written report will give you a better understanding of the home’s general condition.
You may use this information prior to purchasing the home in order to help in determining
some of the repairs, which may be required. This information may be very beneficial,
even if you are purchasing the home with the understanding that no repairs will be
made by the selling party.
Structural Systems: Foundation, interior walls, doors, ceilings, and floors; exterior walls and
doors, fireplace, chimney, roof, roof structure, attic, window and door glazing, insulation,
porches, and decks
Mechanical Systems: Dishwashers, food waste disposer, range exhaust vent, electric and
gas ranges, microwave ovens, trash compactors, mechanical drain stops, all accessible
supply and drain pipes for visible evidence of leaks, and more!
Electrical Systems: Service entrance and panels, branch circuit, connected devices, and
fixtures, accessible receptacles, accessible wall and appliance switches, installed
lighting devices and ceiling fans, exposed wiring, and junction boxes.

- Lawn and garden sprinkler systems
Tommy Layne is licensed by the State of Texas Structural Pest Control Board and can provide a Wood Destroying Insect report at the time of inspection for a nominal, additional charge. Many inspectors must bring in another party to provide this important information.
